Ramadan 360 – Privacy Policy
Last updated: December 29, 2025
Ramadan 360 (“we”, “our”, “us”) is designed to work offline-first. We collect and use only the data needed to deliver core features like prayer times, Quran reading, and audio playback.
Information We Collect
- Location (optional): Used only to calculate prayer times and Qibla. You can deny permission; prayer times will still work with saved/default coordinates.
- Device identifiers (non-personal): Used by the operating system for notifications and audio controls.
- Diagnostics: Limited crash and performance logs may be collected by Apple, Google, or your device OS to improve stability.
What We Do Not Collect
- No account creation; we do not collect your name, email, or phone.
- No ads and no third-party trackers.
- Quran text, bookmarks, and downloads stay on your device.
How We Use Your Information
- Calculate prayer times (location if granted, or saved/default coordinates).
- Enable background audio playback and lock-screen controls.
- Send local notifications you opt into (e.g., prayer reminders).
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data. External network calls are limited to:
- Prayer time APIs (when online) if you request fresh times.
- Quran audio downloads when you choose to stream/download a recitation.
Storage & Retention
- Prayer times, Quran text, and audio downloads are stored locally on your device.
- You can clear app data or uninstall the app to remove local data.
Your Choices
- Location: Grant or deny in system settings; offline calculation works without it.
- Notifications: Enable/disable in-app or in system settings.
- Audio downloads: You can remove them by clearing app data/uninstalling.
Children’s Privacy
Ramadan 360 is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We use the platform’s secure storage and network stacks. No payment data is stored; any payment flows use trusted providers.
